The discovery of a rough-tarmac edge well-within the fall-zone of the play tower has necessitated its immediate closure. Residents are asked not to allow their children to climb on or play inside the play tower. The Swings, and only the swings, may continue to be used until further notice.
As covered on the Playground Consultation page, the existing play-area has frequently recieved red-flags in annual inspections and is due to be removed before the end of 2023.
Next Steps
The Garden Committee are currently reviewing final bids as part of the playground replacement works. Once all bids have been analysed, and all potential costs factorered, the Garden Committee will a second section 20 letter updating all residents.
